Bad news, if they knew about it its very dissapointing, heard he got convicted yesetrday aswell, if so he's a ****, not got a source though.
The fact that they surely knew he would be on trial the week of Prizefighter and the fact that he had a chance of being convicted means that they should of let matchroom know, its disgraceful. Either way he's a **** and I hope he never sets foot in a british ring again
Its a forum for peoples opinions, and imo the way Salam has acted and Hard Knocks (if they knew about it) is a disgrace
Is there a local news story on this yet, Longcount? I've no doubts you're right, of course...just wonder if it's public.
if he has been convicted surley that means a guilty verdict. Didnt Salam get done for kidknapping to a few years back?
It certainly does. And as for the latter, that's the rumour I heard too. I'm happy to be corrected but it's not looking good.
i thought it was because he drew david in the draw, but i am wrong there it would seem, with him and brook as well, they must lock themselves in when theres a fullmoon.
He's been found guilty. I too admire promoters who do their best for their fighters, when they go about it the right way. The whole thing leaves even more of a sour taste knowing that they were promoting him to be voted in knowing he had this hanging over him, hoping the public didn't find out. If Hard Knocks did not know about the case I fully apologise for anything negative I've said about them - if that is the case though it makes Salam even more of a ****.
whos being a dick. your trying to come on here and deny Salam has done anything wrong when a Judge had decided otherwise. Who is more qualified you or a judge?
