Why did Tyson have such a short prime?

    Tyson's prime only lasted about 3-4 years. Why was it so short? Was it because of his personal issues, or was his style just not built for longevity?

    It’s really hard to judge because he went to prison ...we don’t know how he would have looked at 26

    Like many champions before and after once they win the belts and make the money there isn’t the fire to defend them.

    He was a restless athlete since thirteen heavily depressed constantly, with no other goal in life other then to become the youngest HW champion ever and prove to the little people and his only role model he was greater then the rest, he became the one who could not be beat with his mission in his primitive eyes complete his grand shows curtain came crashing down and with his general dead and no new mission no new orders all that was left was for the solider to enjoy the spoils of war.

    He's so insecure and unsatisfied with what he has accomplished. I wonder if it would have been different if his sensei would have been around him at a more maturer stage in his life. Cus meant so much to him.

    Most primes only last 3-4 years. Tyson’s rapid deterioration was just accelerated by his fast lifestyle and a serious back injury.
