Why did Tyson leave Rooney?

Ultimately mike is responsible for his own downfall and has to take ownership, responsibility for all the bad decisions he made in his life.

 

Don King destroyed Tyson.................King got Tyson away from Rooney, and Bill Cayton, Jimmy Jacobs died, of course Cus died. Dung King is lower than low............

 

King sacked him.

Don King got rid of all Mikes team and replaced them with his own henchmen.

This is why Mike had 3 clowns in his corner against Douglas.

Crazy how the downfall always comes from the ones that haven't done the building up/work. There's always pharias in waiting. One good thing about the times nowadays people are genuinely a bit more savvy. Back then it seems a lot of the guys ended up the same way.

Regardless what tyson says the people he left we,re boxing guys. They knew what it takes to stay the heavyweight champion of the world. Don king. Robin givens had no idea.

They only really knew one currency...money every single time.

Should be Tyson's biggest regret...leaving his team behind moving on to people that had no idea. Was all downhill from there.

Can't really blame anyone but himself. Tyson was a hustler. At that level tho...their just amateurs at it compared to people like king and given.

 

Because, Tyson was incredibly dumb. For EG. He fired Rooney. He signed his contract with Don King without ever even consulting a lawyer. If your dumb enough to take the advice of Don King and entrust him with your money, career, and your life, then you get what your deserve. Tyson never even went to school, he was young, stupid, soft at heart, and easily suggestsble in a pool of sharks after his money.
