Olympic athletes generate millions and are a matter of national pride. In most countries you get paid a nice bundle for bringing home medals.

If Floyd wants to be tested randomly, Olympic-style, why is he not tested all year round? Any athlete subjected to random test, Olympic-style, should be tested, in and out-of-competition.

If Floyd wants to clean up the sport, then he should be randomly tested even there's no fight. So WHY is he not tested up until now after the MOSLEY FIGHT???

The term random in dope testing is quite misunderstood!

RANDOM refers to the methodology of sampling method. See random sampling in any statistics textbook.

It is not actually random like "I will appear suddenly at your doorstep because I feel like it" but rather it is based on different sampling strategies.

The only thing associated with "common concept" of "random" is that the fighter being tested does not know these precise dates. Meaning testing dates are already pre-set but fighters are blinded to it.

Random is computed so that both fighters would have almost the same chance of being tested.
