Well probably some of the reasons are he'd only had one fight against a bum heavyweight in two years and also had recent shoulder surgery too.. wasn't he between trainers too? Those empty arenas never help much either…

Not in their first encounter he didn’t.

Well he did pretty much dominate him anyway, try watching it .. but what is the point of your question? & Whyte looked like **** against Chisora (much worse than Usyk) but still beat Parker.. & Parker was lucky not to get knocked out in the first one with Chisora himself anyway .. and he clearly lost to Joshua. He's looked iffy in other fights as well… Usyk would CLINIC Parker!

Because Chisora was coming forward and pressuring Usyk, whereas AJ was static with little head and feet movement.

Usyk couldn't utilize his style when Chisora was coming forward and pressuring him. As he was coming forward, he was grabbing Usyk and locking his arm and at the same time hitting him with his free hand. Chisora wasn't giving time to Usyk to regain his composure, he was keeping pressuring him and throwing random heavy shots and catching Usyk on the head time to time, which hurt Usyk.

This style, of course, made Chisora tired after round 4 and then Usyk got the upper hand.

AJ didn't pressure Usyk and gave him all the opportunities in the world to box as he liked.

The real question is: If Chisora's style was effective against Usyk, what happens if a younger and more skilled version of Chisora fights Usyk now? Like Dubois, maybe.

Well the other guy was smiling afterwards so I guess it is better than Tyson's threat to make Ruddock his grlfriend.
Or it could have eventually gone even "better" than expected...

I also think he was luring Joshua. I also think he took his foot off the gas at the end of the AJ fight to keep him on the hook for a rematch.

Usyk was getting punched around the ring by Chisora

Parker was not - in fact he was punching Chisora around the ring

The point I am making is - Parker in his new "Kronk" mode may give Usyk more trouble than anyone on here thinks....

Parker didn't even dominate him in the second match, the rounds he didn't drop him in were all competitive, and why was the second match needed? Because he should've lost the first one.;)

How come Usyk dominated AJ when Parker didn’t.

Each fight is different. Great to see Parker let his hands go and be in decent condition vs Del in the second fight. I always like an in shape Parker and feel it has a huge bearing on how well he does. Did concern me he couldn’t get Del out of there when he looked good to go after 3 rounds

I think if Usyk was bulked up he stops Chisora

Chisora is better than he looks. Hes been a handful in recent years...hes stronger and fitter than he was. Improved his athletism a lot under david hayes guidance. Split with haye and suffered for it in that second parker fight plus parker was heavier and better for it.

I still say chisora would have given joshua a fight a couple of years back.

You might be forgetting that Moses was referee that fight. Never have I seen such constant, premature breaks...

He still fought timid and didn’t let his hands go. And against Whyte the fight was there for the taking but he didn’t want it enough (IMO). He looked ok in his last fight but Del Boy looked completely spent and he couldn’t find a finish. Del just retreated in the corner to recover and ducked under the same lazy shot every time it happened.

I don’t see Parker having the guile or the killer instinct to win rounds vs Usyk let alone beat him, and this is coming from someone who roots for Parker when he fights.
