Maidana was to Ortiz what Torrez was to Cotto. :deal Cotto passed his test :think

    Cotto's got heart :smoke

    Ortiz dont :-(

EDIT: In all fairness...I think Ortiz actually faced MORE adversity in his fight than Cotto did with Torres. There was like 7 KD's in that fight. Cotto Torres had 3.

No, it was that Ortiz was hurt and didn't have a response when he was hurt, while Cotto against Torres had a response and wanted to, and, did hurt Torres back until he took him out. Miguel ate a lot of hard punches that night, but he was determined to get his win. Ortiz was simply not ready to be taken that deep into the dark side, he froze and broke down, you could see his reaction in the corner after the 4th round, he was like mentally defeated, paralyzed.

Its got nothing to do with Golden Boy, Oritz quit and could have probably won had he got the job done when he had the chance but instead he ended up getting floored after flooring his opponent, realised he was in a real mans sport and then said **** it. This is boxing, this is the type of fights that should be happening and much more regularly so why is anybody surprised by all of this.
