his mouth was wide open at different parts of the fight i know how hard he trains but thats not a great sign he had to take a breather vs briggs if he didnt he woulda got him out of there in the round where he did just like he really should have in the 7th but took a break actually if you watch 6 and 7 it looked like vitali was waiting for a certain punch i think he was sitting and waiting to time and uppercut and he jsut couldnt line it up the way he wanted actually in the first round adameks legs kinda looked like they buckled and vitali had him in danger in the 2nd i was shocked he didnt end it there but it wound up being the typical 8th or later beat down vitali usually gives us
Vitali always fight with his mouth open he talked about it for some time it is a breathing technique he used
yeap.and for the comercials on tv,he's gotta earn his money. Adamek was a joke,i now think Haye is a great fighter after watching the #3HW in action !
I think he carried adamek for so long because he was worried about gassing. the man is 40 years old, but he is very intelligent. but i noticed that he may have been worried about stamina issues the first time he hurt adamek. he didnt go for the kill. he spent most of the fight standing around and not throwing much. he obviously wasnt afraid of adameks power, so i ahd to think, why? is he trying to make it 12 rounds for the fans? i doubt it. He's too much of a professional to underestimate adamek. i think he was worried that if he went for the kill too early, he might spend himself and adamek would be able to pot shot him the rest of the night and maybe get a decision. However, i think vitaly might have hurt his leg when he tripped, so this caused him to to just go after his man and end it instead of worrying about not being able to finish. if he hadnt hurt his leg, it would have most likely been a 12th round stoppage.
This is right on the money. By the end of Round 1, it was clear that Vitali could get Adamek out of there as soon as he felt like it. But Vitali is a man who relishes the chance to bust a guy up. He likes to dish out a SAVAGE beating to his opponents; he wants to break them physically AND mentally. That stoppage could have saved Adamek's life. You could tell that VK was carrying Tomasz in there and the difference could be seen even more clearly as soon as Vitali felt like putting some heat on his shots. Some of Vitali's JABS had Adamek's feet all over the place. Shannon Briggs wasn't as fortunate to have a ref show him mercy. He took a horrific beating, just like so many other VK opponents have. Wladimir Klitschko can separate you from your senses at any moment in a fight with either hand. But Vitali Klitschko wants his opponent to become a quivering mass of pulp before the fight ends. He walks guys down, dares them to throw a shot at him by keeping his hands low, and busts them up with awkward counterpunching. The man is 40 years old and still :ko Both guys are no joke. I do wish there was better competition out there for them to face, but they take out the trash and get the job done since they are several classes above the field.
If adamek could hit vitaly, Tyson would have too. Watching the fight, i thought 88 tyson would destroy this version of vitaly. unfortunately for adamek, he doesnt carry any heavyweight power. Mike Tyson on the other hand... 88 Tyson KO3 Vitaly.
It's actually worse than that. Schrodinger had three (negative) levels for his grad students. Wrong Completely Wrong Not even wrong. This dude fits the third category.
He loves being in the ring and getting rounds on his CV and he wants people to not feel they wasted money buying a ticket to watch the fight.
Vitali always likes to toy with his opponent and prolonge a low and slow beating. This was just a typical Vitali beating. By dishing out such a beating you can often end your opponents career at the highest level. There have been many examples of Vitali effectively ending his opponents career subject to the beating he dishes out. If he was to take them out quicker they may be able to come again and fight themselves back into contention. Of course it has the added advantage that he is able to hone his technique in a fight situation.
Remember? Vitali promised to not stop an opponent early after the Solis fight...........it's true.............check it out.........
If this era wasn't such a joke his jaw would've been broken by now. It does make him look more tired than he is. It's a bad habit.
