He had a knee injury previous to the olympics and was prescribed an anabolic steroid for recovery. He then tested positive for steroids before the games and could not compete.

Not cheating, but he rightfully was not allowed to compete.

    Typical Quitali fanboy.

Getting offended and catching feelings..."why don't you say that to his face?", "oh your hero Lummox".

People who speak the truth about Brittley, must be Lummox fans, according to Klit-Lickers. More typical Shitali fanboy "logic".

It takes an awful lot to test positive from second hand smoke.

The same thing Toney was prescribed for his reoccuring shoulder injury, which made him have give the belt back to Ruiz, after he outboxed him in 05.

At least he didn't take a horse steroid like Toney did when he fought Batchelder.

    Who's trying to be tough?

All I do is discuss boxing, and Klit-Lickers get their feelings hurt. ;)

Wasn't he transitioning from kick boxing to regular boxing? I assume since he and Wlad turned pro on the same night instead of going to the olympics and fighting the garbage style there he was in training preparing for his debut... Wladimir being a boxer his whole career was ready and so he went to the olympics...

Vitali brought Vlad into boxing because he saw that his brother had huge natural talent.

Vitali was 6 time kick boxing world champion superheavyweight division both pro and amateur. He would fight a kickboxing fight, then a boxing fight. Vitali was world military champion. International amateur champion, etc.

Vitali could not fight for gold medal because he was treated by regular MD for foot injury by a steroid, not anabolic steroid, steroid to heal foot. He said that it was mistake to have allowed a regular MD to treat his foot instead of specialist is sport's medicine. Vitali would have won gold medal, no doubt about it. Vitali loves to fight. At one time he was fighting for free!!!!!!!

It was cortisone shot... for his knee... most pro sports organizations its legal... not for olympics tho...

I wouldn't take too much away from Vitali for taking cortisone... haha
