    I don't get it.

Neither guy was getting beaten up. In the Rigo fight the only clean punch I remember is the one at the end of that triple uppercut and that wasn't a big punch, either.

The hand things seems like BS, but even if it wasn't, guys fight with busted hands all the time.

Why did these guys quit, I don't get it.

They knew they wasn't landing enough, nor getting closer to landing more.

Loma had figured them out and was beginning to land with more frequency at the time of the relinquishing. Loma was going to stop both in the upcoming rounds and they knew it and there was nothing they could do about it except quit. Bottom line is they were afraid.

Yep. They knew it was only going to get worse. It would be the manner in how they lost which they were trying to avoid. Humiliated when they are used to doing the dominating !

For Walters is was a straight up bottle job.

For someone as decorated as Rigo there is no way he just quits like that - injury or no injury.

When they were messing with the WRONG glove (the right one instead of the supposed injured left one) on the replay I was thinking "uh oh, Senor Diaz has not read the script properly here".

More ego than heart. They didn’t want replays of them being knocked down, knocked out or badly hurt to be played over again.

So? How many boxing matches has that happened in? Every Mayweather fight. How many of his opponents quit?

In the Walters fight, just like in the Rigo fight, he wasn't landing anything of substance until the last round. Yes, he did begin to land in the last round, but nothing of the sort that would normally induce a fighter to quit.

No, he wasn't gonna stop Rigo, where do you get that notion? He literally landed one eye-catching shot in the fight.

They were afraid? Fighters get dropped multiple times a round and keep getting up and it's just as often that they get pissed when the ref or the corner stops the fight as it is that they look for a way out. Neither Walters nor Rigo got knocked down, hell, they barely took any punches.

They realised they were going to get beaten up and lose and thought "screw that".

Shout out to Juan Manuel Marquez for being a real fighter. When people make highlight videos of Floyd Mayweathers defensive and offensive skills they use the Mayweather vs Marquez fight as an example.
He moved up 2 weight classes and was out boxed in a complete shutout and never gave up or withered in any round from 1st-12th. Mayweather was not bashing him up but he was faster and more skilled but Juan got nuts like a hippopotamus.

Lifes got softer I think in general. Too much pampering. Large percentage of men are like trannys with their metrosexual ways. Half my pals have manbags ffs
