Why did Ward refuse to fight in the tournament unless

    Maybe because the other boxers negotiations team sucks and should next time do a better job in regards to getting the best deal for their fighters:patsch

    Ward got a lucky bounce and he is well aware of that. I would love to see Ward fight overseas in a hostile environment. He has done it several times in the amateurs and could apply that experience at this level. Dirrell seemed to handle it quite well and I see no reason why Ward wouldn't handle it just as well. I believe the American fighters, when facing each other, should meet in Vegas due to its neutrality in this case.
