Why did Ward use his promotional "issues" and "injuries" as a excuse to avoid Golovkin?

    HBO was building the fight and asked ward if he would fight golovkin ward said no and Golovkin said yes. ward was reluctant to just leave his promo issues alone and get into boxing at that time.

    "Hey, Ward, wake up! Why are you talking trash about other people? Speak for yourself. If you're trying to make a name for yourself by mentioning me to build up your own fight, then be a man about it and tell the truth. At our meeting with HBO they asked us whether we are ready to box. You know our answers - I said yes, you said no. You said something about your shoulder or promoter - I'm not interested in the reason, I only heard your "no." But you remember that HBO said then that they would need a long time to build-up the fight. Then what the **** are you talking about excuses?"

    Hmm... so let me get this straight: A 160 Golovkin is more dangerous than a 175 Kovalev and Beterbiev?

    Admit it, you just wanted Ward to be drained.

    that has nothing to do with that it was not like he fought kovalev straight away he fought 4 bums before hand

    what I'm saying is he could kovalev was not a possibility back then so why did he duck golovkin?

    Ward and GG were never in a position to fight. Only dick wad alts like you like to bring up lies in a lame attempt to rile up Wards fans.

    You're implying a smaller Golovkin is more dangerous than a bigger Kovalev and Beterbiev. Because you said he ducked Golovkin but not Kovalev.

    He had no choice to fight Kovalev he was cashing out.

    What about when ward ducked Stevenson when Stevenson called him out on live on hbo? after he splatted dawson? ward never responded and avoided him at all costs
