He also had a shoulder injury you know. The layoff caused by his promotional issues, however, Ward had a part in of course. He chose not to fight during his attempts to leave Goosen.

Stop it! GGG, his fans, nor his handlers wanted anything to do with Ward period. If he was easy work they would have made the fight and his fans would have been calling for it to. GGG fans wanted Ward to go to 175 and face Kovalev so that Ward would leave GGG alone. Who do you think you're fooling here?

He didn't refuse. Why did GGG's handlers say 168-154 agree to fight JCC Jr at 168 and froch at 168 but with Ward ah no with you you're too good a catch weight. That was a clear duck if there ever was one. Meanwhile Ward moved on to bigger and better things in kovalev and is the #1 P4P fighter in the world.

    So...he couldn't fight then?
The whole time he was inactive he was talking like he was ready to fight and was being avoided.
    Which one is it?
He couldn't fight and was just talking sh*t, or he could fight and chose to sit out for 18 months?
    Either way, he's a c*nt

GGG said he would go to 154 for PBF but not 155 for Canelo
GGG said he would go to 168 for Froch and JCC Jr but not for Ward.

Meanwhile Ward did go up to 175 to face a monster in Kovalev a guy people like you said he would duck.

why should GGG go to 154 for canelo when canelo won a 160 belt?

Ward ducked Golovkin simple as that yes he may of taken the kovalev fight but that doesn't change he ducked golovkin

Yes, he could not fight for a while due to the shoulder injury, as I said already.

AND...if you read my post, you'd see that I said he deserves blame for some of his inactivity as well. Ward COULD have fought while still battling Goosen to get out of his contract, but chose not to.

What you think he was 'talking like' means nothing to me, since that's simply your interpretation. You clearly have a huge hatred for Ward, so anything you say should be taken with a grain of salt....

Yea, but Pacquiao is one of the top 15 greatest fighters in history. He did things that weren't typical to do. He's an 8 time division world champion. A little man who could beat up bigger guys. Most fighters can't do that even exceptional fighters like Marquez.

Ward needs to do the right thing and rematch Kovalev, all this stalling the rematch isn't what true fighters do.

Also if he doesn't fight Kovalev he has Beterbiev as his mandatory.......

And we would've never known until he was DRAGGED up. Had it not been for that fight, we'd still be debating who's better: Pacquiao or Marquez.

Ward Kovalev is/was the better fight. So it worked out in a good way. Ward was outgrowing 168 anyways and may have even been a little drained to fight Golovkin (or not, who knows) and I hate seeing drained fighters. Kovalev and Ward are the best fighters in the game right now though. We got the best fight to be made in boxing by far.
