And instead signed to fight Ortiz, who is 100 times more dangerous than Whyte, who’s best win is a disputed split verdict over shopworn trial horse Chisora.

He turned down the payday because he didn’t want to have to sign over future options to Hearn. It’s business.

I will say I was more excited about the Ortiz fight but with off the table I would rather see him fight that MMA guy than Stivern again

Why would you assume the fight is taking place in the UK?

The same reason he doesn't and didn't want Haye, Povetkin, Joshua, Parker, Fury, Ortiz, Browne, Wlad and any fighter with a heartbeat.

He's taking boxing for a joyride whilst taking boxing fans for fools and they are equally culpable since they continue to pay for the privilege of being conned while Wilder becomes a millionaire fighting next door neighbours who don't stand a chance.

Seems most likely that he perceived even someone like Whyte as too much as a threat. Just seems to fear any top 10 fighter.

Apparently you don't have the IQ to have a discussion. It's a fact that Eddie Hearn said he wants the fight in America and even had AJ reverse his statement about how he doesn't need America. Whether you think it's possible or not (just babble from you) a fight in America is on the table.

yep your iq must be real high starting the insults already lol... IDC what hearn says. the fact is Joshua doesn't need the us.hearn just wants Joshua to fight in the us because hes trying to expand his stable.. Joshua was right to say he doesn't need America. because he doesn't..hearn telling him he does is a bad move.

Listen this is a man who you are talking about,is scared shitless of fighting anyone who throws back, and you think he will leave Alabama, not just alabama, the United States,to fight a Uk fighter in the UK.You really think he is going to risk everything, feeding his family to fight Whyte in the UK.When he can just sit tight, and carry fighting people like Stiverne and still have a chance to fight AJ,as it's public demand.I know which option i'd go for.

You guys better save this banter after the Stiverne fight. Dont be shocked if wilder gets knocked out or loses a UD or even split decision .All this talk about wilder this and that could come crashing down after Nov.4th so................

Fighting Whyte doesn’t make an AJ unification any more likely.

The Brit promoter wanted options on Wilder. Was willing to overpay for a Whyte vs. Wilder title fight to get Wilder to sign away his future.

Stiverne has fought twice in nearly 3 years, one of which was his loss to Wilder, while the other was against Rossy who isn’t in the Rings top 100 Heavyweight ranking.

He won’t beat Wilder, but the very fact that he’s got another sanctioned shot at the title having fought just 5 times in 5 years is ridiculous. The WBC should be shut down by the FBI for fraud.
