Why did Wilder's managment chose old shot bums instead of "hungry" bums?

I can not understand why Wilder's managment let him fight agaisnt Fraudley or Firta, when he could fight Szpilka. This fight could make more money than all his last opponents together. It would be PPV in Poland and the fight could be promoed well in the US, two unbeaten prospects. Wilder would also receive more respect, even though Szpilka would be an easier win than Liakhovich or Greer.

Same for many other boxers. There is the opportunity to fight bums with big mouths who are easier to fight than some journeymen, where more money is involved and where the win counts more. Povetkin's managment is doing it well with the Charr fight on Friday. Instead of Airich or Abel, Minto .. he's fighting Charr, who does not have any boxing skills, but who is definetly a better win than those others.

What are other fights that could happen, but did not happen because of ******ed managment?

Who cares? It has all just been filler up till the stiverne fight. That will tell us something. Definitely wouldnt call charr and szpilka bums though.....more dangerous than most of wilders opponents

Who cares? His big test is next against Stiverne. What are we gonna call Stivern if he gets wrecked in 4?

You can understand Wilder's management once you recognize one thing - they KNOW their charge has a super-fragile glass jaw and they want to pad his record with the worst stiffs they can find until it's time to cash out with big money fight.

And even with this outrageous degree of caution in selecting the most beatable opponents possible for the last 5 years, Wilder's fragile whiskers have given out on against at two of these tomato cans and he's been close to hitting the deck on several other occasions.

In short, Wilder is a KO waiting to happen, and his management wants to make the most money possible before it occurs.

Why is it GGG's managments fault, when Ward decided to be a commentator instead of fighting GGG? When Chavez Jr. signs a contract to avoid GGG, when Sturm gives his titles away to avoid GGG, when Martinez rather fights a bum like Cotto instead of GGG, who calling him out for 2 years? What's wrong with Murray, who ducked GGG three times in a row? What is with Quillin??

Why is it GGG's managment fault?
