Why did Williams get a rematch with Quintana, but can't give one to Cintron?

BUNCH of TOUGH GUYS here!!! Disrespecting a guy that @ least is willing to fight the best in a ring... Anyways, point is PW is a disgrace, is overrated as hell, and is never willing to give a rematch in a close fight... in Martinez's case he is basically being forced to because even the networks are getting tired of his farce.... Cintron won, though he clearly lost to Martinez, you cannot mix the two fights.... BTW, PW has lost not once, but twice to fighters that have had a short notice, & 1 of them even had to go up in weight...... hate all u want but this is the one & only truth!!

I bet you didn't once say that Cintron should fight Martinez again in the rematch after the bs draw correct? But yet when it comes to Williams, you bashed on him whenever the chance you get. If Williams is overrated as hell then whats make Margarito who Williams clearly beat??????????

Kermit deserves respect as a pro fighter but when he calls for the big fights and doesn't give a respectable performance he's gonna get his card pulled. Sure he's calling the names out and he's getting compesated for it. He had enough hype early on to ride that wave he contiues to use in order to get paid....but people are saying enough is enough b/c when he gets the opportunties he wastes them!

I'd much rather see a Martinez rematch. That was a great fight.

I like how everyone talks like the know what the **** actually happened. We don't know who would have won the fight if it went furthur because it didn't happen. Paul should be a good sportsman and offer a rematch even if HBO won't pick it up but I guess he won't. These prima donnas just need to fight, thats how you get respect, no wonder people are saying boxing is going down hill

The perception is Kerimt jumped out of the ring. It looked that way although it didn't make much sense given he was doing well. It was early and nothing meaningful actually landed but when Paul came on it looked less like an "accident" how he "fell" out of the ring. I mean I'd love to watch the rematch b/c I'm sure that kind of **** wouldn't happen again, but I wouldn't put it past kermit to come up with some other weird situation that would embarrass him once again.

Hmm there is a reason PW wasnt "turning it up"
He didnt wanna leave hiimself to open and trade with Cintron. We all saw why he didnt wanna trade with him. Even though i think Cintrons power is overrated he had more than enough to stun PW.

I think PWs chin has been cracked. Maybe the Martinez fight did it. He took way too many flush shots. Even knocked the snot outta him.

    good question ray! :good

i think the scorecards of fans get exaggerated by the fact that martinez scored a knockout. it was a close fight in terms of round by round scoring IMO. it was very boring so i never rewatched it, but apart from the round with the headbutt/knockout it was a **** fight.

martinez deserved the victory, but considering the kd was ruled a deliberate foul, a draw aint that hard to imagine.

a rematch should have occured tho.

That fight was a "clear" cut robbery in which Martinez should have won by ko cause Cintron didn't beat the count and he wanted to quit. And since the fight continue Martinez should have won it clearly by decision but yet he gets a bs draw. And you saw the way Cintron did after the 12th round ended? He was celabrating as if he really thought he won it lol. And a day after that fight, Martinez was frusterated believe he was robbed badly. But against Williams, Martinez thought that fight could go either way but then months later even he thought he didn't do enough to win the fight. I still thought Williams vs Martinez was a draw but i wouldn't complain if the judges give it to either Martinez or Williams.
