As the fight wasn't even close..why even mention it? And as someone said in another thread Haye has no claims to a sizeable share of any money if it does happen...so could get a "slave contract" if there is to be a next time...which I cant see happening. Vitali..maybe that could happen - again Haye couldnt claim a large purse here as he's bringing nothing to the table. If Vitali goes for it its just for the pleasure of KO'ing Haye. Vitali vs Haye = possible, albeit remotely so. Wlad vs Haye 2 = no chance IMO. Whaddya'll think?
I agree the money split this time will be alot different, as it should be. But I would think Haye, this time, would have to see him getting a much less than 50 percent as only being be fair and certianly justified, given he was just beaten and now has no title to bring to the table. But I think a rematch will happen, but the sticking point will be if the money can be agreed upon. In my opinion, a rematch with Wlad is probably more likely than a fight with Vitali.
Neither fight is very likely imo. Haye is leave the sport with a good career to look back on and a wealthy bank account
The Klits think it´d sell again. Haye made some excuses like he always does after every single of his fights and Wlad did not KO him so Haye could probably hype it up again in the UK. It´d be a huge fight again after Haye started some trash talk at a presser thats for sure
Yes, and whom else is Wlad going to fight, if not Haye? I don't see Helenious as ready to take this level of fight, so, Haye is about all there is. And regardless, it'd still be a big fight. Let Haye get his angle worked out as to why a rematch is needed, and start his mouthing again. :good
I think Haye will just retire now and become another shitty TV personality, I doubt Hollywood will be interested after he failed to live up to the hype. I can see why the Klitschkos would want to do business with Haye again, he opened doors in the media world previously closed to them and they have come out of this looking really good. Wlad was a class act in the way he has conducted himself in the selling of this fight. I actually quite like his sense of humour, I always thought he got the better of Haye in all the media confrontations anyway. A lot of what he said turned out to be spot on. he exposed Haye as a bit of a wannabe with his "flashy flash" He taught Haye to respect him in the ring. I think Wlad has shown himself to be a top man as well as a great champ, which is more than you can say for other fighters who might rank higher in the list of ATG
I would love to see Wladimir fight Helenius, Dimitrenko, Boytsov, winner of Chisora/Fury, Povetkin (if he ever gets the courage), Pulev, Solis, etc. There are plenty of interesting fights available. Although most likely is that the young guys would avoid him and he would fight desperate old timers [if only he could fight Toney and knock him and his racist mouth into next week!].
