Why didn’t AJ land a massive left hook on Usyk

Usyk is a generational talent. Tony "TUE" Joshua would be swinging at air and gassing.

 

AJ Over throws/extends his shots a lot, which telegraphs so badly at times usyk can see him coming and counter multiple shots from the ukraine bekore aj realises what happened.

 

Same reason why he didnt bully usyk like he bullied those kiddos in another video. Because usyk can defend himself, not like little kiddos or static bags.

As soon as his mental strenght is tested, AJ isnt worth ****.

 

A punchbag is a stationary object,Usyk is not as well as the fact Usyk also punches back .

 

AJ can be a bit dim at times but I am sure he considered using his left hook. As others have said, he just met an opponent that wouldn't just stand there and let him land it.

 

That bodybuilding physique is only good for Olympia. Even Dustin Nichol's would be too quick for Joshua.

Maybe because Usyk is like the complete opposite of a stationary target and he has the best footwork in the HW division.

And Joshua did land clean a few times. Usyk is just THAT tough. He’s better than your hero. Deal With It

And because Joshua admitted that he is a new kind of heavyweight that gasses easily, and apparently gets beat by the old kind of heavyweight.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what going to end Fury's career too. Every casual seems to be caught up in this "Fury is too big and too heavy" nonsense, while they forget that chasing Usyk around will kill Fury's gas tank off in 6-8 rounds. He was already gassed against Wilder in the third fight where Wilder was basically just a walking punching bag for seven straight rounds. All those who keep talking about how great Fury's stamina is have no idea what Usyk brings to the table in terms of stamina. He will eat Fury alive. Fury will look awkward, clumsy, and slow for 6-8 rounds, then Usyk turns the heat up and beats the living daylight out of the ogre by throwing 100-120 punches in the championship rounds. Fury doesn't have the speed nor mobility or stamina to withstand the Cossack Road Warrior.

I keep nodding when people say that "ah, Usyk vs Fury will be such a mismatch". It will be a mismatch alright, it won't be a pretty sight - just not in the way the masses of Fury stan casuals imagine.

 

Spot on. That's another thing that makes me chuckle. Whenever the Cunnigham fight is discussed, the instant Fury stan reaction is: "it was a long time ago, Fury is so much better now".

Is he? What is that statement based on? How do we know that he would fare better with a quick, mobile, technical fighter today, when he is ten years older, slower, declined and less fit? Since then, he has fought with the likes of Wilder, Whyte and Chisora. He never faced anyone even remotely similar to Cunningham ever since. The only guy who can be mentioned here is Wallin - who made life hell for Fury, cut him badly and arguably won the fight by TKO.

So while Fury badly struggled against a quick, small, agile and technical Cunningham and against a decent-footspeed-for-his-size southpaw Wallin, Usyk is like the combination of these two guys, only 10 times better than they ever were. Also, Fury is older and visibly declined in footspeed and stamina. He was sluggish against Chisora and totally exhausted against Wilder in the third fight, despite Wilder doing basically nothing after the fourth round, just acting as a walking punching bag.

And yet, casuals keep talking about how Fury will be "too big, too strong" for Usyk ( = Joshua was already supposed to be all those things), and how he would smash him Hilarious. The meltdown of Fury fan casuals will be epic after Usyk humiliates and exposes him.

 

Fury was toying with Cunningham and showboating and paid the price for that. Don't be saying silly stuff.

You are quite the expert, mate. You want to know Fury’s fights better than Fury himself. That’s a new level of arrogance/delusion. Congratulations, I guess.

 

You have some pretty huge problems if you can't see with your own two eyes what is happening inside a ring. Best of luck with that.
