Billy Conn was pretty much finished by the time LaMotta started fighting.

If Billy survived a Joe Louis barrage that would equal the battleship N.J. and shut out Tony Zale how wouldda Jake faired??

Billy Conn, at his best, and I include the Conn from the first Louis fight, would have had way too much on the ball for the best version of Jake LaMotta. Billy would have been an elusive boxing master in outpointing Jake over 15 rounds.

After 1942 Conn was inactive because of the war.He was past it when he came back.
