Why didn't Canelo fight Jermell Charlo at 154 .? Oscar instead chose an inactive 154 lb Kirkland coming off a 2 year lay off ? Oscar had told rosado and mell whoever wins gets Canelo. Don't say solsometh stupid like "what Jermell do to earn a shot" no just no because what did an inactive Kirkland do to earn a shot against Canelo ? When he could of fought Jermell Rosado winner ?

Because by the time Jermall became a relevant force in the division, Canelo was with HBO and PBC and HBO didn't like doing business.

Charlo wasn't quite on the radar in 2015. Alvarez v Kirkland was still a garbage fight though.

Would have been a very easy fight for Canelo lol. Easier than Matthew Hatton.

Didn´t Oscar even want to make it PPV?
I know Canelo was supposed to headline a PPV on the same date Mayweather usually does. So Floyd got one up on them and made the Manny fight.
I know Canelo was supposed to on PPV but I am not certain it was with Kirkland.

Of course Oscar later acted all high and mighty how Canelo was the savior of boxing and doing the right thing not being on PPV.

This. At Jermell doesn’t have anything in his arsenal to keep Canelo from knocking him out. Jermall on the other hand at least has a punch to keep Canelo honest, but I’d still pick Canelo to decision him.

Can't recall 100% on that, but does ring a bell. Certainly sounds like Oscar
