So he easily knocks out usually pretty durable Baldomir, Gomez and Lopez, but why couldn't he even wobble Magic Hatton? Still doesn't make any sense to me...

Hatton's a pretty durable guy with lots of heart. And I'm pretty sure he did wobble/hurt him a fair few times.

Hatton is a tough *******! I'm not a Canelo fan but he doesn't deserve criticism for not stopping him IMO

Because Hatton is an iron chinned warrior! Kell Brook couldn't stop Hatton either and Brook dished out a more vicious beating.

Cause he was weak and weight drained at 47... Why do you think he got rocked? He barely makes the 54 limit. But once he did move up, his chin has proven to be better.

Hatton is tough, but he is by no means granite chinned. He got knocked down in the 1st by pillowfisted Nuzhnenko two fights earlier. That's what makes in inexplainable to me that Alvarez didn't stop him.

I was wrong.. Boxrec says he weighed 151

I'm getting this fight mixed up with the Cotto fight... He weighed 150 for that fight...

KO sometimes come and sometimes don't. That is why boxer always need to prepare for a full fight. A win is a win. And styles make fights. Baldomir was known as a durable guy. But he was also a lot easier to hit and had been hit a lot in his career.

Hatton got a solid chin and a heart to match, one of the mentally strongest british fighters.
