Why didn't Canelo 'street fight' Khan?

Canelo knew it would just take one well placed shot and anything Khan hit him with wasn't going to hurt him. So yeah he lost 4 rounds, that just added to the drama and made people think "OMG Kahn might actually win this! What?!"
It just took one shot and Kahn was stretched.

That's not his style bro. He relies on staying in a shell, take punishment and win the fights via Oscar bribing the judges. Khan has no chin this is why he was ko, but that's an exception, power is not one of Cunello's attributes

Khan would've kicked his bottom in a street fight, Canelo had to try and run like a coward because he knows Khan was using him as a glorified sparring partner before he gets in the cage and takes apart Conor McGregor.

As much as i dislike Canelo and Oscar for making a mockery of my beloved sport i cant find it in myself to rip into the Mexican for losing rounds to Khan. They were not rounds he was focused on winning he was checking Khan out and just waiting for him to open himself up and start getting over confident and stick his chin out.

pretty much what 3g did with brook, although brook performed worse, he was getting battered and was taken out earlier. to his credit though, he didn't get koed (but you could see it coming in that round or next).
