Why didn't Cortez take a point from Khan at the end of the 6th?

Cortez knew Maidana was a dirty fighter coming into the fight. Khan has never been known as a dirty fighter.

There is a big difference between what looks like Maidana trying to intentionally elbow Khan and what looked like Khan pushing away Maidana.

I agree that they fight should not had been stopped, but he could had being penalized for holding so much, I don't think it should had make any difference (Khan was well ahead) but we talking about the "fairness" of the REF, he was on Maidanas case all the time and that could take a fighter off his game, and he never warn Khan for anything and he has his share of fouls.

Khan deviated from Roach's gameplan from boxing Maidana, because he knows he has a good lead and got him under control. If it was a close fight he won't be as aggressive like he did and get caught in the process.

Watch the end of round 6, listen to what Diaz says to Cortez. It showed you it on Sky Sports should on HBO as well. I can't (on my phone) but you should find it on google if it is not on the HBO version.

Anyway I am going off this. I hope that guy goes and sees Miguel Diaz say: 'You took a point off us, why don't you take a point off him'. There is no point in me arguin with people who can't judge things objectivly. There is no point saying ESPN scored it this when the Judges scored it scored it fairly and it probly took ages to dig that up. You COULD have give Maidana 6,7,9,10 (10-8),11 and 12. Jim Watt's card was a joke imo, as it always is. There clearly was biased Refering. Do I give a **** if people call me a 'hater'? no since that is a term popularized by hip hop acts who have the minds of 12 year olds. Do I hate Amir Khan? no but I think he's a dick and way over rated. People on here can talk **** to themselves now since I cba with fantasists. Amir Khan deliberatly used his head and that could have realisticaly opened a cut at the time.

    I had Khan winning 115-110.

Maidana was dirty thoughout the fight, so why are you just bringing out one point on Khan?

Cortez could taken even more points off Maidana for punching on the break many times, punching back off the head, rabbit punches ect.

    Your thread is fail.
