He was fully interested in taking on Ward (who wants him to fight at 168 despite not fighting anyone at 168 and being a LHW in the amateurs) but didnt seem to keen on fighting Pascal in a return of his only defeat Now people can talk about how bad Canada is but honestly its mostly seems to be American boxing fans, I had the first Hopkins fight a Draw and he was beating the hell out of Dawson in the early stages
Ward is the bigger fight and after that win against Hopkins he was well within his right to call out whoever he wanted within reason. He doesn't need to call out Pascal that fight can be made quite easy, but not so easily as the Ward fight.
I don't know. One would think he would like to avenge that loss and clean up 175. I'm pretty sure there would be decent money in the fight and it's not like he's a huge draw. I think the Super Six did really well because they made it almost an Olympic style tournament with the flags in the background and a touch of national pride. Canada vs. USA is turning into a pretty hot ticket and the networks should capitalize.
:rofl:rofl:rofl ugghhh that **** made me weak.. Pascal gets owned at a press conference looking like Uncle Ben..
Pascal has a fight scheduled for this fall. Not only that, but Ward is a better fighter than Pascal. By your logic, Pascal shouldn't be bothered by Dawson and should be trying to avenge his losses to either Hopkins or Froch. Hopkins should ignore Pascal and try to avenge his loss to Dawson. Froch should also ignore Pascal and try to avenge his loss to Kessler or Ward. You see where this is going?
well, pascal's got a fight coming up, and maybe dawson feels like he beat the guy who beat the guy...thing is, he also lost to the guy who lost to the guy that he beat, if you follow me.
