Why didn't Deontay Wilder go for body shots against Tyson Fury on December 1st?

Wilders method has brought him success, i guess the phrase "if it is not broken don't try to mend it" could be said.

If a rematch happens then that large expanse of body would likely be a wise target, Furys herky jerky movements work well to avoid head shots, but that big ol body of his is less easy to keep out of range.

Wilder is dumber than a bag of hammers. There's the answer.

Because DW lacks skill. With his power, speed and length he should be an absolutely deadly body puncher. But he simply doesn't have the footwork and skills to set up his body shots. That being said he hasn't needed it so far. When you have power like he does he's always one punch away.

39 of those kos were bums LOL

you don't need to set things up to knock out bums

He knocked down fury yes but that's more because of fury still not being in his best shape

Because Wilder was so outclassed and out manoeuvred by Fury that he couldn’t have hit a cows arse with a cricket bat that night!

Fury didn`t land that many more punches than Wilder did.

Fury was slipping shots better than any active heavyweight in the world in that bout and looked quick as hell for a heavy, quicker than most heavies that have ever laced them up, it was a high level fight.

Yes and if he catches his body enough early on he could slow his legs down by the later rounds.

But he landed more punches and dictated the whole fight, leading Wilder around the ring like a cow with a ring through its nose.
