Why didn't Erik fight NAZ?

Morales wins in a brawl. Morales was way better than Hamed. Morales beats anyone ay 122 even Gomez. I am not saying Gomez won't beat him but Morales is the ****.

 

I love Morales, but what's the deal with the Prince? I have only seen a couple of his fights and I thought he kinda sucked actually and his insane KO power is what saved his ass most of the time. If anyone could list some good fights of the Prince, I'd appreciate it because I'd like to see more of him.

 

Thanks my man, I will be checking these out. I have heard of his massive power and that was what made me interested to check him out. His power impressed me because when he connected the guy would just hit the ground like he was dead. I thought that was awesome, but at the same time I kinda wanted to see more...but then again maybe those particular fights didn't showcase his talents. I will look into the career set.

 

please. aside from being a great fighter morales was to smart to go straight at nas. he'd probably box most of the time, and choose to brawl in spots advantageous to him. he could also adapt in the ring, which hamed was incapable of.

 

Morales is not stupid, come on. The second he felt Hamed's power he would adjust immediately, time him and proceed to box him. He is a boxer-puncher, boxer is first.

Morales by UD or late TKO by a stunning straight right.

 

all i know is morales was called out many times by naz, the fight was ALWAYS there if morales wanted it. Naz ko in less than 5

 

Naz was not on Morales' level. He would have outboxed Naz just as Barrera did - or possibly even KO'd the Prince. It's a shame that fight never came off. After the first Barrera/Morales fight, Naz was pretty vocal about calling Morales out.

 

I wouldn't go as far as that but he was definately better in his early 20's than he was when he faced Barrera...not saying he could ever have beaten Barrera but he may have fared better.

Incidentally I seem to remember Hamed going for the Barrera fight rather than the Morales fight because he felt Barrera won the fight with Morales and was robbed on the cards. That's what he said at the time anyway.

Morales KO, does anyone here really think Naz punches harder than a 130 pound Chavez? I mean all you guys think Naz will win because of his power, but if he didn't KO Morales, he'd get busted up or lose a wide decision.

 

This has got to be a joke???? Naz is fun to watch (so are the Herlem Globe trotters) that does not make him THE MAN! He chose barrerra cuz he thought it would be easier than Erik at the time...Wrong again...A good fighter always looses to a great one...happened w/ MAB and would happen here as well! Give it up!

 

Because Morales would've beaten the hell out of him. Floyd wanted a fight with Naz as well but was clearly turned down, watch after Mayweather/Corrales, Mayweather calls out Naz and Merchant clearly tells him in the face that he shouldn't bother because after that performance there is no way in hell Naz would fight him.

Two "would haves". NPlease no ifs. I'm not possitively sure, but already heard and read it from alot of people that the fight was offered and either not accepted or simply rejected. So it could have been, but did not happen. Not to take anything away from EM, But lets not put down Naz as his camp made the move on it happening.
