Wbc do 30 day weigh ins, every fight since he came back for a WBC title he has down these and has weighed 150 lbs and doubt he weighs much more on fight night. Rather go by scales that what I see.
First of all, you do realize fight night weight won't be a factor in what weight he can fight at right? Second, do you really think he weighed +13 pounds more than he did in the weigh in? I doubt it.. Also, why would he weigh more in a 147 fight than hid did for his 154 fights? Next, wasn't Canelo "drained" for fighting 2 pounds under 154? Floyd should be dead for fighting 13 pounds under his "real" weight right? Lastly, do you think he fights at a weight that's +10 pounds more than his walk around weight? That would be stupid..
Floyd didn't give his weight because people like the person who made this thread will talk about him.. It really doesn't matter at all what he weighed on fight night, but people will make it seem like it's some kind of ploy on the boxing world...
I think he bulked up for Mandana because he knew he was gonna have to wrestle his ass. He didn't disclose his weight because he wanted to surprise Maidana when he grabbed him.
His weight had obviously very little impact on the fight so why does it bug you so much? There is no mandate on disclosing your fight night weight and he chose not to share it.
M.3, NONE of your reasoning make any sense. He was 12-13ls bigger than Marquez. Floyd's fans always talk **** about him being "a small ww" and he demands what other guys should weigh so why WOULDN'T people question why he didn't announce his weight.
beats me.. everytime he weighs in on fight day the most we have ever seen him was 151 or 152 against cotto (for a 154 title). and you are right he certainly did not look that big
