When the rematch was discussed everyone was calling him a ***** for it. It doesn't happen and he's called a ***** for it.

^This. People here were going ape**** when a second fight between these two was being discussed. Now, I've noticed an increasing number of people claiming that Mayweather ducked a rematch. I guess you can't please anyone.

It doesnt realy interest me as to why they didnt get the rematch made.

What realy had me interested was the rematch.

Think about how great it would've been if the rematch happened, with Mayweather Sr accepting to train Oscar and be in his corner for the fight.

Floyd Sr and Roger were on bad terms at that time and the whole brother against brother match up would have been great.

Think about the 24/7 for the rematch...Would of been a classic.

People that weren't so interested would have been sucked in from the 24/7 antics.

I also feel that if the fight was at 154lbs again,Oscar had a real good shot at taking the rematch.

I always liked Floyd Sr in De La Hoya's corner.IMO Sr was a big part of Oscar winning the Vargas fight.Mayweather Sr had Oscar more relaxed in the ring and it certainly showed in the first round when the steroid beast threw everything he had at Oscar.

They wanted to make an immediate rematch and nearly did it only for talks to break down and end right there, then Mayweather fought Hatton instead and retired. The public were too against it when they announced negotiations for a rematch.

The TS is about the seventh or eighth different person that I've seen insinuate that Mayweather "ducked" a rematch with DLH in the last couple of months. Some idiots over on the scene of boxing were saying the same thing as well.
