Mayweather has good timing and he'll use Paquiao's momentum against him. How about you jump towards me while I throw a right corss and tell me how much that hurts.

exactly, They had at least 9 pounds on Floyd and they could fight in close

Yes, but Oscar De La Hoya fought differently than he always does, he knew he couldn't outbox Floyd he had to bring the fight to him and rough him up, that's the only way and it proved effective enough to score a SD.

Floyd had the most trouble in his entire career with De La Hoya and Castillo, both of them brought the fight to Floyd, this is fact.

Pacquiao isn't one dimensional, like I said the scenario doesn't come into your head that Pacquiao would just walk through his punches does it? Pacquiao has proven himself to have a great chin, when's the last time he's been knocked down/

Sure your punch would hurt me I assume, but I'm not Pacquiao

de la hoya didn't trouble FLoyd. FLoyd won 8 or 9 rounds in that fight.

Castillo gave Floyd trouble. He was basically Julio Cesar Chavez apprentice, very good at cutting off the ring and fighting on the inside.

emmanuel can't fight on the inside if his life depended on it.

Mayweather is too smart for Pacquiao. He will show to Pacquiao what the difference between an ATG and HOF !

If it has not been stated on the long thread, it became the path of least resistance for Floyd. The Round 2 KD and how he choose to fight not flight his way our of trouble to establish himself, Floyd learned by the end of that round that his reflexes were the key to victory. Anything Mosley could do, Floyd could counter first. The other option was to move and potshot and he surmised that he would get more tired doing that and possibly get caught as a result. Had Mosley kept tagging Mayweather, Floyd would have gone to the stick and move.

I usually don't care much for size, but emmanuel would be Floyd's first opponent at 147 where Floyd actually has the size advantage.

Dude you are answering your own questions. You saying asking why would he do that....that wasnt a wise decision... It doesn't seem logical for a guy with such high ring iq + Shane's camp thinking he is not dumb enough to trade with me, I'm gonna have to chase him around the ring, we are going to be the agressor, = Shane shows up unprepared because this is not the mayweather we watched on tape and prepared for; mayweather wins because he does what no one expects.

Not sure how choosing to stand toe to toe equates to legs being gone. If thats the case his legs were gone against Burton gatti etc.

Hope that answers ur questions. EOT. Merry Xmas

DLH won 4 or 5 clear rounds arguably that's trouble enough, DLH didn't have the stamina to maintain the workrate unlike Castillo.

You allow Floyd to stay in his comfort zone like Mosley did and you will be picked apart from the 1st round all the way to the 12th. Castillo/DLH refused to let Floyd stay in his comfort zone and resorted to doing whatever necessary to accomplish that. Manny Pacquiao is a complete offensive fighter he can fight inside c'mon now.

Manny won't just walk through the punches. I'm sure he'll keep moving forward though, but the punches are going to hurt him and maybe not stun him at first, but they'll have their affect. Watch some Mayweather fights, he usually starts the fight off boxing and adapting and when he feels like his opponent is slowing down or breaking down, he'll go for the KO. Same thing happened against Marquez, Hatton, Mosley, Zab, ect. It just depends on when he decides to turn it up is what determines if he knocks them out or not

Big reason Mosley is not a good inside fighter. Mosley needs room to get his shots off.

Yeah, when Manny gets inside, he just sits there with his hands up and doesn't throw, the same with Khan. He needs get room to throw his punches. Look at the Hatton fight, when he's in a clinch or up close, he doesn't throw any, but as soon as you give him some room then he dominates. The thing though with Floyd is he is dominate at long range and close range, but the problem with Manny is if he's up close, he's in danger of Manny pushing off to get a little room to throw a flurry
