Why didnt you just come out & say that in your opening post ?
Its obvious thats what you were getting at... anyway, I wouldnt listen to anything Roach says, he is a notorious liar.

Mayweather - legs n all - looked as sharp as ever IMO, just as sharp as he did vs marquez & Hatton albeit using a different style for Mosely.

Shane's style of boxing isn't the same. Nazim tried to have him outbox and potshot with Floyd which was stupid. Shane should ripped hooks into Floyd's body and done what he is known to do. Floyd was actually walking into him and giving him a solid target. Shane is just too far gone at this point. He can't pull the trigger and his reflexes are shot.

exactly it is like what Roger said. Mosley is a fast fighter, but that don't mean **** if you can't jab

still, if floyd potshot vs pacquiao and keeps on moving the chances of him winning will be much bigger. Also marquez fights like that because he is more agressive and likes to exhange blows with his opponent, I see floyd more like a slick moving countering from distance type. therefore him having fast legs in the fight will help a lot making it easier.

    That's one way.

What I'm interested in is seeing how Floyd controls emmanuel inside of the clinches. We all know emmanuel can't play the clinch game, and it's the perfect place to land a few bodyshots.

because I want a serious opinion floyd tactics and how his fans see it, I dont want the thread to turn pacweather. Do you think he used a more rsiky gameplan for the first few round then he could have used then?

Also don't assume Floyd's legs are shot. Floyd states after the fight that this was their strategy to pressure Shane. They go into every fight differently and you can see that a lot in Floyd and that's why he's so versatile. Their strategy for Marquez was to box with him and keep the jab on him.

The blood testing made him weak too to run. As Roach correctly put it, his legs were shot.

Floyd knows that Roach is right.

Youre right, thats a good move for him to use, Just liek ali did when he didnt have the legs anymore just clinch. If it ever were to become like that better hope that cortez wont be the ref:D.

He can stand in the pocket and barely get hit. I hate the guy but he is one of the most versatile and adjustable fighters of all time. He's a genius.

To proof to the world that he could beat Shane at his own game.

If we're talking prime for prime, Shane would have bombed him out at welter. Floyd was too small and weak. All it would take is one right hand and Shane would have been all over him. Floyd couldn't break a nail at the weight years back, and he's not gonna potshot Shane all night without getting caught. Mosley hands were just as fast and he threw a lot more punches then he does nowdays.

Would have could have blah blah

Mayweather is just a superior boxer & athlete to Mosely, thats why he won, because his skill level was a notch higher than Shane`s ever was.
