He was gonna cruise to an easy win anyway, the judges were bought already. That was no easy win, he was getting his **** kicked in there. He was just trying to look pretty pretty jabbing, holding, and running. PAC had the better defense because nothing Floyd threw significantly hit him. PAC was getting in a lot of hard shot. Even Daddy Floyd knew what time it is.
Pacquiao is an ATG who has the tools to trouble Mayweather but he doesn't have a chance in hell with that kind of strategy with four shoulders molded out of obsidian.
Too busy running around the ring & tying the "midget" up when ever he got close aka posed any kind of threat. All he does is win a tho Haters gone hate
It still amuses me how many people act like they're shocked that Mayweather fought how he usually fights when the other guy doesn't have anything to stop him coasting along.
No. They were both playing chess. Mayweather just played it better. However, Pacquiao played Mayweather's game well. Better than most.
i saw this fight many times already. how people say floyd dominating the fight is beyond me. pac was the aggressor and landed the more meaningful punches. floyd chose to run a little and throw one shot at a time. how can a judge give him the fight when he fought passively is ludricous
Mayweather clearly carried Pac so they can have a rematch next year. Likewise Pac backed off Floyd a couple of times when he actually could have followed up. It was clearly a fake fight, a sparring session.
I imagine a 'skinny fat' kid asleep in his parents house....cans of mountain dew and crumbs from candy bars strewn all over his captain america rug....A ray of sunlight pierces through the gap in the curtain and slashes across his face....he grimaces at the early afternoon sun that wakes him from his jobless sleep, rises and clumsily plods over to his window and yanks the curtains closed...casting his room back into darkness...he yawns and scratches his head....his computer waits in sleep mode and he takes his familiar perch and fires it back to life...as he scrolls through his many alts...he chooses the most appropriate one and begins typing....his bedroom door creaks open and his disappointed dad peers round, "Son...why don't you actually try boxing for real, it'd be good for you. You know Dan takes his kids three times a week, I could ask him to take you along as well?" His Dad pleads...."No dad...We've been through this...I tried it that once and I didn't like the sweaty gloves...and besides, you know how my asthma gets...just leave me be okay." His Dad closes the door, defeated...and so he begins to type his first topic heading of the day..."Why didn't Floyd Walk Down and KO PAC?!?!?"
He should've walked him down. Anytime he stood his ground or backed up Manny is when he gave him the most trouble. Honestly, FLoyd just looked really tentative for most of the fight. I noticed from the first round that he was a bit nervous and was probably going to employ a very cautious strategy. There were instances in their match where I thought he could've pressed the gas a bit more on his combination punches and see if he could really hurt Manny in there. But to be fair, Manny also fought very tentatively. It's interesting because these 2 guys have been in some HUGE events over the years, but it looked like they were both a bit nervous with how big the stage was for this fight. Both of them being extraordinarily cautious is IMO the major reason the fight didn't live up to it's action-packed hype.
