Why didn't Jacobs KO Golovkin?

Yep Jacobs got all excited and starting jumping up and down that he'd finally landed a big power shot.

Problem was that GGG didn't even so much as blink. His chin is pure cast iron. Proven beyond all doubt.

 

You sound like a girlfriend or a little nephew who is begrudgingly watching a fight alongside someone, annoying them as they try to pay attention. "Why doesn't one just knock the other one out?!"

 

GGG won the fight 7-5 and got an extra point for the knockdown round. That makes it a clear 116-112 fight.

Jacobs fought a bit too negative and tried to steal the belt from the champion - not win it. He clearly absorbed more punishment as well....and thats because he got out boxed.

 

Thats like saying why didnt GGG KO Jacobs

 

I won't say anything negative about the judges because they saw it like they saw it, for whatever reason. However, I don't share their opinion. I think that Jacobs won that fight and that he won that fight going away. He quite simply outboxed and beat GGG.
