He's not an educated fighter and has a ******ed coach. Khan is thick like dishwater.

To be fair, Roach told him to hold before the fourth began. Khan just didn't listen.

The encouraging aspect of this whole thing is that Khan's mistakes were obvious and easy to correct. He didn't get out-worked or out-fought, he just made some tactical errors in terms of strategy and ring intelligence. When he was hurt, he should have got on his bike and worked behind the jab, maintaining distance, using his superior speed, scoring points and patiently waiting for any KO opportunities.

The problem was that when he got hurt, his ego took over and he got into a brawl involving heavy infighting - one of his weakest areas. Big tactical mistake, but easily corrected. Who knows what instructions Roach give him, maybe they weren't given or maybe he just didn't follow them. Either way, if he grows and learns from this experience, he should be alright. So long as this is combined with NOT looking past his opponent like he has done in his last two fights, and also being realistic about what level he is at, Khan will never be a Manny/Mayweather, but he could be a Miguel Cotto. He has far from that level yet though.

I always say the great great fighters have in-built instinct/trait/sense etc to go into a mode of survival and know WHAT TO DO INSTINTIVELY.

Its a quality were the mind instinctively tells the body to cover-up/hold the fighter until they recover. Its having an instinct/brain still not in shock to work under pressure and tell the body to survive and "hang in there" all the greats have it Ali is a prime example of this. So many examples of where fighters KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN HURT they practice in gym etc but when in the situation there mind can't instinctively go into that mode.

I call it having the raw animal/primary survival instinct to survive as long as they can, similar to wild animals and early humans who fought to the death and last man standing wins -you cant teach it you have or not.

Khan has none of that that’s why he never be an elite fighter -ever.

Because when Khan is hurt he doesn't know how to deal with it. It's in his DNA to fight back. It'll always be the same.

It's funny because roach was tellin him the opposite of what khan did.

Keep your distance, you need to recover.

Then khan gets in there and starts swinging.

You are forgetting that his legs were gone.
