Why Didnt Mark Breeland have a better career

He was screwed because of Thomas Hearns.
Everyone wanted a boxer like the "next Thomas Hearns".
Here's Breland - tall long armed like Hearns and had some pop in his right hand just like ......... Hearns.
Samething happened to Milton Mccroy.
If you were a lanky welterweight who could pop you were at some point going to be held up to Thomas Hearns.
Also Mark should have stayed at Kronk as Steward would have been the perfect trainer for Mark.
Mark could actually stick and move very well but nobody wanted to see that.
