Yeah it was. Totally agree about GGG being relaxed as well. I thought he was a little bit tense in round 1 last night and he loaded up on some big swings that flew right over Vanes' head. However, Sanchez had a word with him in the corner between rounds instructing him to stop looking for one big shot, to throw little jabs and get into a grove and use feints to create openings and GGG came out in round 2 and looked much better.
Did you not see how many flush shots to the face he took in that sequence? And that damn neck twisting upper cut shortly before the sequence. His brain was scrambled.
Once again. Where was this ferociousity, aggressiveness and execution against Canelo. Night and day. Don’t understand why you guys are getting hard over this. None of that was present against Canelo at all.
Yeah what a difference and what a truly great boxer he is,credit to Jacobs and Canelo for not getting lured in but I just think if he fights in a relaxed way like this he’s so experienced he nearly does everything right anyway.
Well I think you’ve gotta give Canelo credit for not getting lured in as that’s Golovkin thing to make boxers feel like they have a chance. Also think Golovkin didn’t handle the occasion as well as Canelo
