    Naseem Hamed or Erik Morales?

I'm a big mayweather fan, but looking back at 2000-2001, they cuda made a fight at a 128 pound catch weight...

Were there ever rumors of a fight between mayweather and one of those guys? Why didn't it happen? (mayweather-hamed wuda been epic)

PBF called out Nas when he was at 130 but I think Nas then lost to MAB and that was the end of it. EM was fighting at 126 or 122 back then the fight was never talked about.

Actually Hamed ducked Mayweather and Morales didnt want to go anywhere near him. No one jumps upto fight a bigger Castillo head honcho of lightweights instead of fighting smaller feathers

Back when Floyd was at 130 he called out Hamed almost every fight. And this was before Hamed got owned by Marco. Hamed ducked him surely!

I can only imagine what people would have said if Floyd had fought such smaller men. He already takes heat for fighting bigger guys.

Between 2000-2001, floyds weight was basically 130 lbs for each fight.

Prince was 126. They could've EASILY done a catchweight fight at 128 lbs.

Erik Morales as well weighed in at 135 and 129 during 2 fights in 2000-2001.

I actually remember someone had an interview with Erik and he said that he would have given PBF hell if they ever fought.
I believe it was around that time too.
That would have been a hell of a match up. An iron chin vs a slick boxer.
Thats back when Morales was fresh too and he could have pumped that jab all night.

After Floyd fight with Corrales he called out Naz but Larry Merchant told Floyd the truth when he said "believe me Floyd, Prince Naseem does'nt want to fight you". I never knew there was talk of a possible Floyd/Morales match-up but I don't think Morales would have really wanted to fight Floyd IMHO.

I remember rumors about Morales and PBF sparring and Morales giving PBF a hard time.

I have no idea if they are true and read that a long time ago but it is possible that they sparred before as they were both Top Rank fighters.
