    :yep

Mosley never had a jab... He very long arms, yet couldn't jab to save his life... :-(

I can't understand why/how high level boxers can't throw every punch in the book well... Just train and practice until you're very good at it!!!

It would help if you took the time to read my original thread where i clearly stated that Mosley was never a guy who threw the jab and where i stated that it was also a general question for all boxers who seldom throw the jab. :patsch

Exposes his left side? Where? Why do Pac fans attempt even talk about Boxing other than involving Pac?

Step to the right and what? Throw illegal kidney punches, punch arm, get caught with quick left hooks, or just get stepped into and a shoulder in your chin?

The Philly shell doesn't leave much open but a straight shot to the left side of the face, period. Even less when a guy has good reflexes and can roll his shoulders and swivel his rear hand to block and parry. Unless you are lightning fast or have the power to make him adjust his arms? He is safe.

There is no left side to work unless you are willing to hit arm and elbow. If you are fast you might be able to land an occasional overhand right, but if the guy is a fast counter puncher you will miss or pay.

Look! Mosely never EVER had a jab and you expect him to use that pity pat thing against the best pure boxer alive? :patsch

Are you telling me that you dont know he will get countered ALL 12 rounds and you REALLY needed to create a thread to ask this?

Man you *******s are so damn annoying! You dont know about anything unless its to do with Pacquiao! :verysad

The shell defense exposes the left body when PBF is using his left arm to cover up his face for the right hand.

See, this is exactly what's wrong with this forum. Just because i have an avatar of Pacman, you assume i'm some biased, Pacman fan who has an agenda. Well, i don't. I am asking a serious, constructive question. If you don't have anything to add, then don't say nothing.

Dude you OBVIOUSLY did not know Mosely doesnt and has never had a jab! If you knew that you wouldnt have asked such a dumbass question.

Please tell me WHEN Mosely has ever used an effective jab, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mosely is not like vernon Forest or Oscar who had good jabs for the original question to be relevant.

How is your question contructive is Shane gonna use your flawed insight for his next fight? No!

WTF are you talking about? Do you know what a (Philly) Shell defense is?

Look ******* a Philly Shell sets your left shoulder protecting your face, left arm protecting your full "rack o ribs" down the left side, and your left forearm protects your gut. Your right elbow goes up and forward to protect your solar plexus. There is no (legal) opening!

The only flaw of the shell is that in the hands of a sloppy or slow guy it can be exploited. It is also hard to mount an offense out of it if you aren't fast and or don't have good "reads". At NO TIME does your left arm come up to cover your face. When you throw the right it is thrown lightning fast and you either follow through with a roll or you don't commit and rock back into the shell.

    *******s are the WORST! :yep

Honestly, I'm not even sure why you even started this thread. Mosley is not a good jabber. He flicks it. You can't be a lazy jabber against an excellent counterpuncher. And if you really expect a guy in his late 30's to to all of a sudden develope a steady, committed jab against a guy like Floyd overnight, then you're crazy. Everyone has a plan until they get hit. Mosley may have planned to commit with his jab, and even had success one time with it in the 2nd round. However, once he got countered a couple of times, that plan went out the window and he reverted back to his old self.

Its because Mosley is shot. Against Cotto, he used it. Even against Margarito. The dude doesnt have his legs or reflexes any more. taking that EPO shite has caught up to him
