The same reason Oscar didn't jab more against Mayweather. Mayweather is excellent at nullifying the jab and making the opponent feel that it's a worthless tool against him. Also, Shane has never in his life had nearly as good a jab as Oscar. If Oscar's wasn't good enough...
*Waits for the *******s excuse for NOT knowing what a philly shell is* If Pac aint done it, they dont know it!
Mosley has never really been much of a jabber. He has a nice one when he uses it. His lead punch is more of a long left hook.
I guess i should've made the thread title to something like, "Why don't some boxers jab more?" I was simply using Mosley/Mayweather as an example. But i guess some Floydettes or Boy Joy fans like bald_head_idiot don't get it. They need to be given instructions step by step.
Magarato was like a deer in the headlights in that fight. He wasnt there mentally and physically. I think he looked weight drained. He was having problems making 147. Capetillo said that is why he put the knuckle pads in. He said he knew his fighter was doomed before the fight. The pads were his only chance. atsch
he threw alot of jabs but most were authoritative flicks that were ineffective range finders for an outfoxed Mosley who was just without an answer
