Why didn't Manny fight Mosley during this time period? Shane looked like a beast in his fight with Margarito. He looked like he was taking that mans soul. But why would the unstoppable, fight anyone, Manny not fight Sugar Shane? Shane offered to fight him at a catchweight, but Manny chose to fight a slower, softer punching Cotto at a 145 catchweight. Why would Manny do such a thing? I know Manny will never speak on it. Since a cats got his duck. I mean, tongue. :hey
Who cares, the Mosley that beat Margo was a one-night wonder thing it was the result of heavy steroid consumption + fighting an unfocused man no wonder it never appeared ever again
Because Mosley was with Golden Boy and didn't need to leave them when he had Mayweather as a possible option.
If that was due to roiding, then explain Manny during the same time period, never losing any power or speed after moving up 3 weightclasses in 11 months? :deal
Hasn't Cotto beaten Mosley by then? Is Pac being criticized for cherrpicking an opponent who recently beat the guy he "supposedly" ducked?
He also said that he'd rather see Mayweather "prove himself" against Mosley. Really, it's obvious when these guys are talking trash to the public. Realistically, Mosley knew he would fight Mayweather since both were in the same stable. That fight was being talked about by De La Hoya immediately following Mayweather vs Marquez in the post fight interview and in the post fight press conference. What happened in the post fight interview was a direct indication that this fight is being cooked. Arum sure as hell wasn't going to negotiate with Golden Boy and Mosley when he had Cotto and other options in line for Pacquiao.
Cotto beat Mosley. But Cotto was coming off of being mugged by Margarito. Mosley was the boxer that looked like he had life in him.
