Why didn't Pacman fight Shane Mosley in 2009?

That's nonsense. It's pretty much a worldwide accepted truth that Pacquiao's most magnificent performance by far is the first Barrera fight.

He was stronger at 122? Tell that to Ricky Hatton.

Towards the end. The quote from Roach.
    http://articles.latimes.com/2010/feb/02/sports/la-sp-dwyre-pacquiao2-2010feb02

"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

I really think his best performance was against Cotto.

His most shocking performance was against Oscar.

The most impacting performance was against Barrera.

    In my opinion.

roach does not select who should pacquiao fight next or negotiate for pac. i have never heard of any fighter going to roach to get a pac fight.

"it depends on my promoter." -pacquiao

when shane got the pac fight, him and j prince went to see arum and not roach.

Didn't Roy Jones have a 100% KO rate at 154?

That doesn't mean he was weaker at 168.

I changed my post above because I think 168 was actually his best weight where he beat Toney.

I am also not too keen on looking at stats alone when judging a fighter's success.

What's your point? I'm not bashing Pac. This came from Roach's own mouth :patsch And if you really think Roach doesn't get consulted before they choose an opponent for Pac, then you have to take Pacs ***** out of your mouth and get a clear thought on things. There are the people who decide if it will make money (managers, promoters, networks) and there are the people who think it's a winnable fight (Trainers). They all get consulted, and if it works for one of them, but not the other, the fight doesn't get made. End of story.
