Why didn't Sultan Attack?

Wlad has too much reach for a guy like Sultan and he landed some good jabs to Sultan's face. Just the fact of height and reach was a big obstacle for Sultan. I'm glad that the fight wasn't in PPV.

Man did you guys saw Duddy, he took a lot of hard punches, it wasn't an easy fight for him.

 

I cannot believe you are serious. You are probably here just to provoke people by making outrageous, senseless remarks.

 

The size advantage was the reason he had problems. If Iggy was about three or four inches taller, then it may have been a bit different.

Of course that can be said about any fight, but it seems very apparent that the size difference was a huge factor in the way the attacking played out. I truly believe Iggy had no chance of hurting Wladimir. Iggy's punches could barely reach Klitschko, while on the other hand he was open for huge right hands from the midway point of the 1st round.

Wlad could have opened up and stopped him at any time and that's why even non haters like me are puzzled.

 

Sultan has fairly good power and quick hands. His only chance at victory would have been if Vlad become overconfident and gunned for a kayo. In that instance Sultan might have had a chance to land a lucky bomb and turn the fight around.

 

Sure, Sultan was so ackward that only contender Ray Austin could solve the ackward puzzle and knock him down. I don't buy it.

Sultan actually didn't run that much. He seemed to be within range to allow Klitschko to land the jab often. There were many opportunities for Klitschko, such as Sultan backing up against the ropes, yet he didn't take advantages of the openings.

 

Sultan is a much better fighter since hooking up with trainer Jeff Mayweather. Mayweather has maximized Sultan's awkwardness and his tricky boxing style.

The Austin fight occured before Sultan began training with Mayweather. Notable also is that Sultan was overweight for Austin...it was probaby his worst career performance. Definitely an off night.

 

Sultan couldn't get close to land anything, he was eating jabs all night long. WTF could he do? Vlad wouldn't let his hands go, to land anything off the jab.

 

Vlad was booed for knock Austin out in the second round, no power problem with Vlad. He was the first to knock Brock out. First to knock Axel Schultz out, Foreman could not do that. Vlad has a jab that is harder than most boxer's right hand.

 

He attacked!! Vlad was just too big!!! Nothing special about the win..with that physical advantage leaning to Vlad in every aspect, the out come was bizaare (boring)..

 

Simple Wlad was faster than Sultan thought and Sultan slower than he thought.
As Wald pounded down Sultan's arm he kept waiting for that feared right....
From the first round he did something unexpected, clubbing with his fist, Sultan's lead arm.
I must admit it was one of the dullest fights I've ever seen.
Having learned form his losses, Wlad, took the rounds, and not the pizazz.

 

Like I said on the thread that says "2nd or 3rd round KO" . . . that won't happen, Sultan is saddled with a very big physical disadvantage.

Question is why didn't Wlad exert effort to at least make that fight interesting.

 

17ko/23 fights, left handed, ie like Corrie Sanders...which I saw live...got to get my money out of that fight still.
And one had to over extend to reach him....over extention in any sport, puts you out of postion for any quick move needed immediatly thereafter.
