why didnt the past trainers catch the wraps before?

The Deputy official for the CSAC said that the tainted wraps felt "..all right to me.." when they were handed to him according to Richardson's account. What does that tell you? Stupidity is the strongest force in human culture. It's a way of life for us.

 

it means richardson tried to disrupt the warm-up routine and now everyone is in an uproar.
i can't wait til the 10th so we can hear the truth one way or the other

I agree. The sport needs better supervision. No fighter should even start the process of wrapping his hands before the other camp and the commission are present. It is so simple to take the cheating out but there is no will. It is like a baseball team using it's own balls without inspection by anyone except an illegal baseball's purpose in not to do serious damage to the opposition. A lifetime ban for the entire team along with a forfeit of share of their the purse is the only answer for these dangerous cheaters.

The more time that passes the more likely this seems to be the scenario. We'll just have to wait and see.

 

Everybody is on their own wavelength with this. I'm referring to all the little tricks and funny business that goes on - within all camps - and how easy it is to get things past the commissions.

 

Who knows. Maybe Richardson looks for problems and nothing will come out of it. I think the Trinidad wrap was sort of smoke and mirrors.

Well regardless of the circumstances of the Trinidad fight, when I heard that Richardson was the one who was involved in both fights and noticing something on the wraps, that made me a little suspicious, more than say if Emanual Steward was the one who noticed it. If it comes out to be true that something was in the wraps of Margarito's hand, then someone should hire Richardson to be there for all handwraps or at least teach people what to look for. We will find out soon if it was for real. If it was something illegal, the question is will Margarito be suspended.
