Why didn't they find Plaster in Margarito's Pads

    Anyways, regarding the thread...You have not only a confession of Margo's own trainer and the findings by the Department of Justice claiming the handwraps were illegal. What more do you want? He's lucky to even be allowed to apply for reinstatement.

    I did a quick search and apparently found the transcript from Margarito's sentencing hearing with the csac. In terms of the substance involved there is nothing concrete(pun fully intended) in the minutes about the substance used, but the testimonies they refer to are pretty clear.     About 5 guys accused Margarito of cheating, and therefore his license was revoked. It's all I got from it.

    Where is all the evidence crap, and arguments???

    The real evidence was sketchy at best. It would not have held up in a court of law. It was obvious from the beginning that the CSAC intended to railroad Margarito. The fact that they held the hearing BEFORE the lab report came in tells me all I need to know. The CSAC wanted to look like they were taking decisive action, so they decisively ****ed Tony.

    From those minutes it seems as if the follwoing played out that day:

    Commissioner: "Gentle met, please have a seat. Witnesses come and testify".

    Witness 1. "Margarito cheated"
    Witness 2. "Margarito cheated"
    Witness 3. "Margarito cheated"
    Witness 4. "Margarito cheated"
    Witness 5. "Margarito cheated"

    Margarito please come and testify:

    Margarito: I have no idea what the **** everyone is talking about. What the **** did they find in the pads??????"

    Commissioner: Sit down, Capetillo come up:

    Capetillo: I ****ed up, theys some old pads

    Commissioner: Sit down.

    The results from the lab aren't here, but **** it, GUILTY motha****er!!!!!! Payback is a *****, I lost 20 grand in the Cotto fight!

    ok, that completely clears margarito. **** the suspension, he should be in the ring already. :roll:

    how are they "two totally different things"? sure what resto did was more ****ed up, but they did the same thing.

    altering what you have inside your gloves in any way should result in being banned from the sport. end of story.

    Here is a better question for you.

    Why did they find a hard old gauze in both of his glove? Why was this foreign substance there? Why did his trainer admit to putting(loading) it in the wrap?

    2. That's the whole phucking point opf the thread! Read it and find out why Plaster was never found but TRACES of Calcium and Sulfur were.
