Or let him go without his belt and he be an interim champ and face the winner when his "health" was ok again?

Kessler did the decent thing and let his belt go and retired..why? Because he was genuine!!

They are not sueing him because they may be in on it and preparing for a Dirrell-Bute Match up sometime next year, which will lead to the winner eventually fighting the S6 winner.

Funny how Bute Signs with Showtime after Dirrell pulls out the S6. Then Dirrell says he's fighting in March. How can Dirrell get away with this? He sounds like he doesn't know certain answers that Showtime would have investigated. If people on here can see something isn't right with the story then why would you think showtime couldn't see it? He is liable for too much money for showtime to let something like this slide. It's a set up.

I think they are banking on Dirrell vs Ward to have that emotional, storybook feel of 2 friends meeting at the top. Even Showtime realised it was too early for these childhood friends to fight seeing the potential money that could be made with them showing themselves to be the most skillful in the tourney. Ward hasn't been damaged at all and alot of people (myself included) felt that dirrell had the best chance stylistically to beat Ward.

How yall like that speculative theory LOL.

I'm not so sure of that. I Don't know how the styles will mesh. I definately don't know how Bute will react to someone faster and sharper than him seeing he has had a big handspeed advantage his whole career. I question any fighter who wins off handspeed's ability to fight someone faster than themself.

I definately want Bute to fight someone instead of getting a free trip to fight the winner of the S6.
