Why didn't Tito get DQ'ed against Whitaker?

He was quite low but still on his feet and Pernell was able to avoid those punches.

 

Because Pernell did crouches like that all the time as one of his defensive techniques?

Maybe you should watch a few more of his fights.

 

Whenever I see a Trinidad highlight video I laugh at the Oscar part. They It's funny that somone combing over the entire fight for a higlight video can not find a single meaningful punch landed by Tito. All this guy could find was a light jab landed after the bell

 

vise versor they can't find one of oscar landing a meaning punch on tito but you could find one of oscar hitting air though on the last 10 sec of every round

 

Here you go. The tito fight highlights start at :20. Notice how in an Oscar highlight vid you can actually find moments in the fight where Oscar lands shots? Any time I have ever seen a tito highlight vid all they show is him swining at some air and then the decision being announced at the end.

Tito DQ???? Pernell was crouching. That is not legal. Who understand people????? Remember Cotto/Corley??? The referee didn't stop it because Corley was out. The referee stoped it because he was putting his knee in the floor everytime Cotto was coming close to him. I guess Chop Chop wasn't able to do the same things Pernell did.

Regarding Tito/ Oscar. I still have it like one of the judges. Tito by 1 point. I admit Oscar was winning the fight. But he gave the last three rounds away. That was too much. That was HIS FAULT!!!!!!!

 

Roughly a third of Pernell's defense was based on crouching so low his ass was an inch from the ground, of course it looks like he was down.
