And to be fair, Herol Graham was the best Brit.

There was also Michael Watson, a wonderful fighter.

Because Jones and Hopkins were ducking cherry pickers just like Floyd. Eventually, they got picked themselves by Calzaghe. That's justice of a kind.

Benn does not have the same glass as RJJ, i am 100% sure that Benn can take a shot way better than Roy. Benn was explosive enough to catch Roy at some point and to fight him outside of his comfort zone.

Explain Michael Watson then ? And it's funny your clearly not aware of the power Jones had .Benn has never dealt with the type of speed and power Jones had ..

But your right I almost forget how many people caught Jones flush in his prime ..

I would favor RJJ, but Benn in his prime was an absolute beast.

    1: Collins is a American

2: Benn and Eubank had moved up to smw by the time Hopkins had got his hands on a mw belt.

3: Collins was interested in unifying with Toney at mw if Collins got passed Reggie Johnson, but he lost that fight. Toney moved up to lhw by the time Collins moved up to smw

4: Neither Benn or Eubank were interested in fighting Toney who made a point of constantly calling them out after he beat Iran Barkley

Hopkins beat Mercado back in 95, by that time all of the big names at mw had moved onto other things.

Who would have won if Toney fought Benn, Collins, or Eubank?

Benn fell from exhaustion against Watson and stayed on one knee, after putting everything into every punch for six rounds at turbo pace; finding nothing but arms, gloves and elbows!

And Hopkins started at light heavyweight, but moved down to middleweight where he'd have a massive size advantage. If he'd had any *****, he'd have fought at super middleweight at least or light heavyweight where there was a lot more competition. But he made a conscious choice to fight much weaker much smaller competitors. He should have fought James Toney, Virgil Hill, and a bunch of other guys too. He went down in weight while Toney and Jones moved up. He didn't grow a pair until 2005.
