Why didn't Tsyzu target Fundora's body more?

Fundora's torso was practically in front of Tsyzu's face being 6"6 and all. Even though he was cut, I feel that he would've had a chance to win the fight if he invested in body shots. Fundora is practically a walking stick. Body shots would've paid dividends in the later rounds. He was headhunting too much trying to hit the tip of a skyscraper instead of weakening the skyscraper's foundation.

Blind or not. Punching in front of you (Fondura's torso) is better than punching waay above you (Fundora's head)

He did go to the body. He would have went more but in doing so, he would have been close. In the pocket he was severely vulnerable due to loss of vision. Can't see what's coming back, more susceptible to the KO blow.

When both eyes aren't blanketed in blood we can actually determine that.

It's not like he had a blind fold on. I'm sure the blood dripping bothered his vision, but not completely blind. You Zoo zoo's are entering the delusional zone. I hope they run it back and there aren't any unfortunate issues. Just a clean, clear victory. You still think Fundora is easy work or did the cut prevent an early KO for Tszyu?

The cut prevented an early KO. Anyone but the most biased against Tszyu could see that. He busted him up the second half of round 2, landing almost every right hand he threw. Fundora would have caved in the 3rd much more likely than not.

Tim's a really good boxer, he really is but some people go way over the top about him

He'll come back from this but it's not the biggest shock ever he lost

IMO certainly he's the best Jr. Middleweight. The gripe I have is so many people out here pretending the gash on his head and loss of vision weren't really that big of a factor, and that him not being that good is why he lost. The cut was 90% of it.

TT was in an unfamiliar position having the double whammy of a horrible cut and a skilled 6 ft 5 Junior middleweight to contend with.

If he has the greatness in him, he will learn from this experience and come back even stronger. In fact, I am starting to look at losses as a good thing for modern day Fighters, not too many of them of course LOL, but it seems to teach Fighters a certain aspect of the game that would be impossible otherwise.

I truly believe the great all-time Fighters were often great because of who they learned from and Tim seems to be made of some durable stuff, and I fully expect this to be a teaching for him to become an even better fighter.

Yeah, Fundora didn't seem to have an answer for that right. That's why I want that rematch. Test your theory, if you will.

Well if he had trouble seeing, why not target the largest part of his opponents anatomy? Instead he was head hunting. IQ is low regardless of the circumstances. Im not even saying he is a bad fighter, just a stupid one.

Tim spend half the fight wiping blood from his face. You can't focusing on fighting when blood is streaming into your eyes.

One thing people don't understand is that you need both eyes to determine depth perception. When one eye being obscured constantly, Tim is not able to determine distance and depth very well. Coupled with Fundora's height and reach, it makes it extra difficult to land his shots, whether to the body or head.

Tim had an easy time landing his right hand in the first 2 rounds. After the cut, he couldn't gauge distance very well and those flush right hands became few and far between.
