I never rated Joppy as a win, just noted Bute had made ex amount of defences, but even then I wouldnt laugh as loud as you are when you consider that Abraham when facing Ward was also a former MW with no significant SMW wins on a worse run than Joppy , having lost his last 2 S6 fights.
Consider also Abrahams best win was arguably H Eastman who Joppy had already beaten .

Absolutely Froch beat Bute, but the debate is about why Ward didnt face Bute, and with that you cannot find a sensible answer :yep. You couldnt even answer when I compared Joppy and Abraham at the times of the fights in question.
The big point is Ward didnt face Bute. Froch did, so why was Ward not interested?

 

First off Froch Kessler 1 was a very close fight. Froch clearly won the rematch. Again, you keep talking about who beat who and how this fighter fought that fighter or how this fighter felt There is no right or wrong answer. It comes down to opinion. You think Kessler is Wards best win and I think it's Froch. Froch was more competitive than Kessler was against Ward.

Ward beat the man who tortured your boy...and your boy doesn't even want a rematch. Ward told the fans why the fight didn't go down. Ward would receive no repect beating Bute until Bute beat someone of note.
