This is my view on it too, it was the fact that Chisora just stood there afterwards that made it so funny, he must have been bracing himself for a push back himself.

Wlad was standing there trying to look menacing and Chisora called his bluff.

There's nothing dignified or classy about Wlad's reaction (or rather lack thereof).

Yeah and it goes well with Christianity, turning the other cheek etc.

When you're trying to act like a tough guy, however, it doesn't work as well.

    It's because Wladimir is a grown-up.

    I disagree.

The real "tough guys", don't have to show it every second.
The loudmouths always spouting off, people like James Toney, Mayweather, etc.. they do it because of issues with insecurity.

The question is not why Wlad let it go. Ask Chisora why did he chose to spit moments before the fight?
First reason - Wlad would not be able to punish him.
Second reason - disrupt the fight, blame Klichkos and leave unscathed.

Judging on the amount of water he spat on Wlad, Chisora's mouth can accommodate a lot of cum.:barf

Sure, you're right about these guys.

I think Vitali fits your tough guy definition, however, and I'm pretty certain he wouldn't allow Chisora to spit in his face and get away with it without as much as a shove. The slap at the press conference surprised him and he didn't react but if he was in Wlad's shoes at that moment he'd do something, I'm certain of that.

Wlad's lack of reaction didn't stem from his immense power of self-control, he just didn't know what to do because he's not a fighter deep down. No shame in that really.

spose wlad was right not to attack chisora and jepordise the start of and finish of vitalis fight.

chisora maybe wanted to get hit as an excuse to get out of the fight??

tbh though wlad messed chisora about before with cancellations and both k bros play silly mind games so deserve some back

It is like wanting to fight your boss after he fires you for being a **** wit, you have nothing to lose and he has every thing to lose.

You want to fight because you are angry and have nothing to lose and you are a drop kick, He on the other hand , can lose a lot and dose not want to risk it.

The loser thinks that his boss is a coward or scared as he does not want to fight and thinks of himself as a tough guy.

    He's a PROFESSIONAL fighter.
That means he fights for pay. LOTS of pay. He doesn't "street fight", which is strictly for amateurs and ordinary folk and thugs.

I'm sure he'd fight outside the ring if he or his family were in physical danger. But fighting over a bit of water, he's obviously not so easily distracted from the fact that's he a very professional fighter. Not some mug off the streets

More like trying partly trying to lay the groundwork for a future match with Wlad I suspect.

If he wanted to get out the fight, he wouldn't have gone 12 rounds with Vitali, one of only 4 guys ever to do so.
