Lots of ppl, just like myself purchased the fight just to see DLH lose. I dont think any fan in their right mind purchased this fight to see a good showdown.

If only pinoys were rich enough to even buy PPV for their own house, not watch live streams, free projector screen viewing at public places(thousands of pinoys watching), buy their own ppv and not watch with whom has it, watch on live cinemas(which the PPV would count as 1 but around thousands of pinoy watching), shitty economy, and most of all... ONLY THE RICH which is 15% of the whole population can afford a cable(which aren't tapped)

I think there is a multiples reasons, the economy, the mismatch, the boring 24/7 you have to admit Floyd and his family made their 24/7 segements very interesting, the way the 2 fights were differently promoted, the heated exchanges in the press conferences, the fact that the fight happened to be on cinco de mayo, and more.

yes, the heated exchanges between boxers are absent. instead it's freddie doing the talking.

i definitely agree that it was promoted differently

It was probably the economy. There was a report on NPR yesterday that mentioned that Vegas was half empty last weekend and that getting a premiere room was easier than ever. If Vegas is hurting then there are real problems. The fight was even mentioned which is a surprise as I've never heard anything boxing related on NPR. They were shocked at depressed the city was.
