    i don't understand it. :huh

Mosley when he fought cotto is a better fighter than Oscar is right now who is very inactive.

of course, oscar has a better chance at 154 since then he'd have an advantage because he likes manipulating people.

but it wouldn't be a missmatch in favor of oscar..guaran****ingteed. if this happens in may of 2008, that'll be oscar's 3rd fight in almost 4 years.

    WAR COTTO

Look at what Corley did to Cotto and then look at DLHs left hook (if it lands)

And if this fight takes place at 154. Etc etc. All depends on the factors IMO.

Who are these "a lot of people"

Tell them they are ****ing idiots. The only thing De La Hoya can destroy is the perfectly folded arrangement of his girlfriends lingerie

I wish De La Hoya would retire

The reasoning behind it is that Oscar is bigger than Cotto and stylistically presents problems due to his height, range, outside skills, left hook, skill set, and size.

Not that I necessarily agree, but it's not unreasonable to think that DLH would get Cotto out of there.

    Oh, come on.

Cotto is infinitely more skilled and polished than Mayorga.

Yeah I know, but it's still funny, and in reality Mayorga does pack a huge overhand right and a hell of a chin

A prime DLH would be extremely dangerous for Cotto, but Oscar is completely out of his prime now and is gonna be draining weight to make 147. Cotto will break him down and knock him out late. Oscar has not gotten his stamina tested in quite a few years and against Cotto, great stamina is essential. I really hope this fight comes up so Cotto could brutally stop Oscar and setup more hype for a Mayweather showdown near the end of 2008.

I will be rooting for Cotto, he is one of my favorite active fighters (Dawson, Pavlik, Mosley).

However, I do like DLH, although I wish he'd just f*cken retire as he is holding things up for his own glory and feel he poses a serious threat to Cotto's reign as an undefeated fighter.

DLH will land his left hook and Cotto will have to fight through the cob webs eventually.

In the end, I favor Cotto by decision based on the hand speed and boxing ability he showed vs. Mosley.

I just wish Oscar would retire.

Mosley is a better technician and a stronger fighter than De La Hoya, no doubts about it. Just that Oscar presents specific problems to Cotto as the use of the left lead and combining it with the left hook to keep him off and at bay. Hoya's inactivity and recent performance give no indication that he would compete physically with the hungry animal Cotto is... So that leaves us with the simple scenario of Hoya tryin to outbox Cotto and we all know he can't do it under an intense pace for more than 24, 27 minutes... Hoya lines himself up for his 6th defeat, 2nd in a row and the usual cashing on the opportunity, nothing more, nothing less.
